PROBUS WOMEN’S CLUB OF BURLINGTON
Application for Membership
AIM OF THE CLUB
To provide regular meetings, guest speakers, programs, and activities for retired and semi-retired women with similar interests. Our goal is to provide our members with Fellowship, Friendship and Fun.
ACTIVITIES
The Club meets monthly, excluding July and August, usually on the fourth Monday from 10:00 a.m. until Noon at the Art Gallery of Burlington. Our dedicated team of volunteers plan interesting speakers for each meeting and outings to cultural and entertainment events during the year. In addition, there are opportunities to participate in small group activities such as bridge, euchre, mah-jongg, book clubs, knitting, movie nights, breakfast club, gourmet cooking, golf, walking groups and many more.
MEMBERSHIP
The Membership Year extends from June 1st – May 31st of the following year. The Club has a membership cap of 225 and will welcome new members as space is available.
INITIATION AND ANNUAL DUES
The fee for new members is $75.00 which includes an initiation fee of $30 and the annual membership fee of $45.00.

Participation
Please let us know if, in the future, you would be interested in joining the Management Team or one of the subcommittees. Also, indicate if you have any additional skills or experience which would be helpful in fulfilling the responsibilities of some of our positions.
MEMBERSHIP LIST
As a courtesy to members, we publish the Membership List once a year. This published list contains each member’s name, address and contact information and is for the use of members only and not to be shared with anyone outside the organization. If you would prefer not to have your contact information included on this circulated list, please indicate with a check mark below any sections that you would like omitted from the list.
CLUB WEBSITE
As we move to our new website, we need to ensure that members approve the use of any of their photos taken at various events, being posted on the website or published in the Newsletter.

When you are introduced at a monthly meeting, it would be helpful to know a little bit about you.

- volunteer interests and participation;
- whether you are a long time resident of Burlington or newly arrived.
